Watch here how to make

Authentic & creamy Guacamole

Prep Time: 5 min

Total Time: 10 min

Servings:4-5

1 cup= 250 ml

Ingredients

2 ripe avocados

1 roma tomato, seeded and finely chopped

1 medium red onion, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, crushed

Salt & pepper as per taste

1 tsp Cayenne pepper or 1 jalapeno pepper, diced

1/2 lemon juice

Directions

- Scoop out the avocados and start mashing it gently using a fork.

- Once mashed add salt, pepper, lemon juice, crushed garlic, finely chopped onions, and tomatoes.

- Whip everything until well combined.

- Later sprinkle some cayenne pepper for extra flavor. You may add finely chopped jalapeno pepper instead, both the options works absolutely fine.

- Serve it with fresh bread toasts or your favorite crackers, and top it with some hot sauce and relish this nourishing spread, while slurping muesli and milk on the side.

Secret tips

- Make sure you seed the tomato wedges as shown in the video and image above. This will ensure that your guacamole will be creamy and you'll have perfect consistency to spread on toasted bread or crackers. This step also ensures that your dip will last longer in the refrigerator if your are making the dip ahead of time.

- Freeze your dip for 15 minutes before serving it, with this step all the flavors would have melded together and your dip will stand out on your breakfast table.

- Storage: You can store this dip up to 3 days in refrigerator but, Avocado can quickly get brown due to oxidization if not stored properly, don't you worry I have got you covered. Store the dip in an airtight glass container with a plastic wrap film tightly attached to the opening of your container and then close the lid. If you do not have a glass container then simply wrap the plastic film on your stainless steel or ceramic bowl.(Avoid plastic bowls and containers, it leaches harmful toxins in your food and neither keeps food fresh ).
