I had been buying granola and muesli from supermarket for a quite a long time until I came across this recipe. The best part is, it has no added sugar not even in the form of honey and also no oil.
I bet you it tastes a 100 times better than what you buy from stores, exciting isn’t it!
This recipe is a slightly modified version from my very favorite you-tuber #pickuplimes.
No other granola recipe will compare, neither in taste nor in nutritional value.
This beats all
So without much a do let’s dive in😇

Recipe
Healthy Granola (whole foods, no oil, no sugar, and everything nice 😇)
Prep Time: 10 min
Bake Time: 30 min
Total Time: 40 min
This recipe makes approx 6 cups (2 medium sized jars)
1 cup= 250 ml
Ingredients
Dry whole foods
3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup almonds, roughly chopped
1/2 cup cashews, roughly chopped
1/4 cup pecan nuts, roughly chopped
1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup raisins (optional)
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
For the paste
1 cup soft dates, pitted*
1/2 cup tahini **
3 tbsp water
See how to make here 👇
Directions
1. Pre heat the oven at 150 C.
2.Take a huge bowl and mix all the dry ingredients together.
3. Make a paste from tahini, dates and water in a food processor or hand blender.
4. Later add the paste in to the dry ingredients, give it a good mix with your hands so that everything dry gets coated with the paste.
5. Take a baking tray and lay a parchment paper on it.
6. Start spreading the mixture on the tray while pressing it down with your hands.
7. Pop the tray into the oven for 30 mins or until it is fragrant and golden, do flip the granola after 15 mins so that it is golden and crisp on both the sides.
8. Let it cool completely and then transfer it to an airtight glass jar. Glass jar ensures freshness and the taste will be the same until the last crumb👍🏻. (Ditch plastics and stay miles away from these harmful chemicals that it leaches in our food).
9. Enjoy it with yogurts, smoothies, milk or as is from the jar as a healthy snack.
I am attachig some photos so that you guys can have a clear idea about this recipe👇🏻

Notes
* If dry soak them in warm water and drain before making the paste.
** Use 100 percent unsweetened tahini, some people may not like the raw taste of it but trust me on this, this granola is incomplete without tahini. However those who are allergic can use unsweetened almond butter instead.
